Tech Info:  This substrate is w idely used for both immunoblotting and immunohistochemical staining techniques. It produces an insoluble end product that is brown in colour and insoluble in alcohol. DAB is supplied as a 50 x concentrate, the buffer is 10 x concentrate. The buffer should be diluted to 500 ML to give a working solution (pH 7.6 when diluted) DAB is a suspected carcinogen. Stable for 18 months at 2°C to 8°C.
